Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an effective therapy for many forms of mental health difficulties; these include anxiety, phobias and mild to moderate depression.

An 8 week computer programme is now available. This programme takes individuals through a course of examining their thought processes and emotional reactions. The aim is for people to find new ways of thinking that are more helpful and health giving.

Mind in Mid Herts has computers and the programmes available for people to access the service, by appointment, in Hatfield and Stevenage. This service is free and is supported by trained volunteers who understand the programme and can help people to make the best use of the service.
