What Our Employment Support Services Include
We provide support and enable people with mental health issues to access employment, training, education and volunteering activities.
We work with you through various forms of support, to help you to:
- Support you to remain in your current job
- Identify pre-employment and job skills training
- Create or update an existing CV
- Assist with completing job application forms
- Improve your interview skills and techniques
- Build confidence and self-esteem through social and inclusive activities
How We Support Mental Health in Employment
We take a person-centred approach, working with you one-on-one to overcome barriers and achieve your goals. Our employment support worker will provide tailored assistance to support you:
- Access further education, training, or voluntary work
- Find paid employment
- Enhance your quality of life
- Promote social inclusion through engaging activities
Our aim is to empower you to succeed in your career while improving your mental health and wellbeing.
Eligibility for Our Employment Support Service
This service is available to anyone aged 18+ who has been sign-posted to Mind in Mid Herts for this service or has a mental health condition and would like some support with employment.
