This course aims to equip participants with a good understanding of what assertive behaviour is, the barrier to being assertive and support learners to develop a range of skills to enable them to be more assertive.
By the end of the course learners should be able to:
Identify barriers to assertive behaviour and effective communication
Understand the role of non-verbal communication and use this to communicate more effectively
Effectively use a range of techniques that will aid assertion
To participate on this course the online referral form will need to be completed and an initial assessment will be carried out at your nearest centre.
