All proceeds from the event will benefit the church’s major refurbishment project and Mind in Mid Herts. The latter is an established local mental health organisation supporting individuals aged 16 and over through prevention, social support, and recovery programs. Funds raised will directly enhance their capacity to serve our community.

“We are delighted to be a part of St Peter’s Fest,” said Emma, Fundraising & Communications Officer at Mind in Mid Herts. “It’s a wonderful way for the community to come together, have fun, and really make a difference.”

Every tower tour, every burger eaten, it all adds up and helps us ensure that no one in Hertfordshire has to face a mental health problem alone.

Why Your Participation Matters:

St Peter’s Church, a beacon of history and community in St Albans and has been closed for vital repairs. To preserve the structural integrity of this beloved landmark and to make the building more accessible for everyone, the deficient concrete floor has been replaced with York Stone and energy-efficient underfloor heating has been installed.

“We are privileged to open our churchyard for St Peter’s Fest in conjunction with Mind in Mid Herts. This event combines fun, community activities, and awareness of important local causes,” said Mark Dearnley, Vicar of St Peter’s Church. “It’s a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy a day out while supporting the preservation of our church and the health of our community.”

Join us at St Peter’s Fest for a day of fun, community, and support. Your participation helps us bring critical services and restoration to life, benefiting everyone in our city.
