Hatfield Community Fair 2025 Tuesday 12th August 2025 – Kindness Rocks
This year at the Hatfield Community Fair, you can help us create Kindness Rocks — small stones decorated with uplifting messages and colourful designs.
Join us at the Mind in Mid Herts stall to decorate your own rock, then take it with you to place somewhere in Hatfield (or beyond!) where it might brighten someone’s day.
These little works of art are more than decoration — they’re messages of care and connection. Every time someone finds a Kindness Rock, they’re reminded they are seen, valued, and not alone. Even the smallest act of kindness can make a big difference.
We can all feel lonely sometimes — it’s part of being human — but loneliness is a feeling, not a fact. This is our way of reaching out to you, and we hope you’ll pass that kindness on to others.
Get involved
Spot a rock? Take a quick photo and share it on Facebook, Instagram, or X. Tag @MindInMidHerts and use #MiMHRocks so we can follow its journey.
Move it forward. Help the message travel by placing the rock somewhere new — on a park bench, at a bus stop, outside a library.
Keep your eyes peeled. Each time you see a Kindness Rock, pause and enjoy the reminder that someone cares.
