Meet the Team

Sharn Tomlinson

CEO, Mind in Mid Herts

Sharn Tomlinson is a UKCP registered Systemic Family Therapist, trainer and manager.  She works at Mind in Mid Herts as CEO; Sharn has experience working in the NHS both with children and adults, as part of the mental health team, as a Family Therapist.  Sharn has a post graduate diploma in Systemic Management as well as an MA in teaching, training and supervision and has taught Systemic Psychotherapy at Post graduate level on a master’s programme at the University of Bedfordshire and Relate.

 

Nicky Kuklys

Head of Training & Development

As a mental health professional, trainer and consultant, Nicky is passionate about supporting organisations build mentally healthy workplaces. She has worked with a variety of local and national businesses’ offering bespoke training and support services so that they can build resilient teams; balancing the wellbeing of their workforce with achieving business success. Nicky has 16 years’ experience working in the mental health field within both the NHS and charity sector. She has experience in group facilitation and facilitating change in a one to one and group setting. She is in the process of completing her doctoral thesis in Counselling Psychology and has completed her practitioner training to deliver mindfulness interventions. She brings her professional experience and lived experience of her own mental health difficulties to discuss mental health and wellbeing in an empathic and practical way.

 

Hannah Wallinger

Training Officer

Hannah has been working with Mind in Mid Herts for 18 months within the training department and also as an outreach worker. As an outreach worker she was able to provide one to one and group support for individuals in the community. She has been a vital member of the Stepping Stones team; supporting people as inpatients back into the community. Previous to working for Mind in Mid Herts, Hannah has experience in the field of Occupational Psychology where her passion grew for well-being of staff in the workplace, resilience and learning and development; this lead to her research on an exploration of individual’s resilience and coping styles and how this affects their wellbeing. With Hannah’s professional and educational background she has a wealth of knowledge that she brings into her training sessions.
